Dr. William M. Brown, Jr., born in Princeton, WV has been practicing Oral, Maxillofacial, and Implant Surgery over forty years. Dr. Brown attended West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV for three years before entered the School of Dentistry at West Virginia University, Morgantown. He graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1972. He completed his Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.
Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Brown searched for a community in need of an oral surgeon and where he could spend quality time with his patients and provide quality care for the community and surrounding areas. He opened his solo Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery practice in Goldsboro, NC. As the only oral & maxillofacial surgeon in several counties of rural eastern North Carolina, Dr. Brown provided a variety of services including extractions, bone grafts, wisdom teeth, oral pathology, facial trauma, orthognathic and facial reconstruction surgery and dental implants.

In November 1985 Dr. Brown joined the partnership of Campbell & Stroud to form Campbell, Stroud & Brown, D.D.S., P. A. in Greensboro, NC. He continued to offer a variety of services as he honed his skills in the emerging field of dental implant surgery. He is able to use several types of anesthesia such as general anesthesia, IV sedation, and nitrous oxide in order to ease the patient's anxiety. Dr. Brown continues to provide quality care for his patients and became a well-known figure in the community because of his giving spirit. He worked with many organizations such as Guilford Adult Dental Program and Missions of Mercy. Dr. Brown has traveled to India and Zimbabwe through Health Volunteers Overseas, Honduras through Methodist Church Missions and Dominican Republic through Rotary International providing surgery needs to indigent patients.
In 2006 Dr. Brown opened solo practice in OMS dedicated to subspecialty of Dental Implant Surgery. William M. Brown, Jr., D.D.S, P.A. was formed and located at 1002 N Church Street, Suite 100, Greensboro NC. Dr. Brown has completed more than 10,000 Dental Implant Surgical Procedures. He has also completed hundreds of Complex Dental Reconstructive cases including full mouth, full arch, and Nobel Bar Attachment Denture™ Restorations. In order to focus more on dental implant options he decided to form a business partnership with Dr. Christopher L. Durham in August of 2012.

Dr. William M Brown, Jr. is a member of many organizations including the American Dental Association, AAOMS and is Board Certified with both American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and American Board of Oral Implantology / Implant Dentistry. In addition, he served as President of North Carolina Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. He continues to update his education at National and International implant meetings, and also presents seminars locally and regionally on Implant Advancements and New Technology.
Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Indoors you can find him reading, but outdoors he may be hiking or zip lining with his son. He is a Trained Assistant Leader with Boy Scout Troop 214 of Greensboro. As often as possible he finds time to travel to other countries during his family vacations.
